I’m reading Harry Potter books again.
SEE WHAT YOU DO TO ME TUMBLR? ;o
I hate Christmas crowds at the store. People are so weird when it comes to their holiday food too. We don’t have something someone needs to make this thing, they freak out. We don’t have the perfect pound frozen turkey, they freak out some more. GROW YOUR OWN DAMN TURKEY THEN!
I’m mad.
Red wine and cleaning out closets mix very well. That’s the only thing that I learned today but it was an excellent adventure nonetheless.
As of ten minutes ago, I am officially done with my fall semester. It feels good but I don’t feel like I’m accomplishing anything by going to college. That crappy piece of paper better pay off in the long run.
Now to play WoW and read awesome novels all Christmas Break!

Books I've Read Semi-Recently
I love to read and since I haven’t had anything creative to update this thing with, I’m going to throw down the list of books I’ve read recently… at least the ones I’ve kept track of.
Spring 2010 List
Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice
1984 by George Orwell
The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy
Fight Club by Chuck Palahniuk

The Body Thief by...
Dormant
I know this thing has been dormant for a while. Expect a revival some time in the next week or two. I’ll need a break from studying for finals. Blogging again seems to be a good way to do so.

Help!
I just need a few more college-aged people to answer this question for me to have a good sample size. It’s for my English class and I’m writing a paper on impulse buying. No names will be used, I’ve just run out of other places to get people to answer the question. Please answer honestly and post your gender if you wouldn’t mind.
Are you an impulse shopper?
Books Read During Christmas Break
Although the list is meager, they’re still worth mentioning. Hope you don’t mind.
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J. K. Rowling The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao by Junot Diaz
Started: Walden by Henry David Thoreau Queen of the Damned by Anne Rice
I’m never happy unless I’m reading two books at once.
Apple Store madness.
lewiskingblog:
Apple stores don’t have “no smoking” signs. Legally they need them but they “ruin the design of the store”, so for every apple store in the UK they pay £50 a day to keep their windows sign free. Crazy shit.
EDIT: I forgot to include the source, it’s a friend who works in the Apple Store in Norwich, The evidence is the fact that they aren’t actually in the windows.
First Bike Ride of '10
Yeah, baby!
The weather has finally cleared up enough that I can go out and get on my bike. I’m so excited it’s ridiculous. I think it has a little something to do with blowing off some steam because school started this week. This semester’s going to be a hard one but hopefully, there will also be some quality time with my bike.
I start school again on Monday. Another semester full of classes I’m not sure I should be taking.
I’m not ready to go back yet. I’ve got too much left to discover on my own, about myself and about others. There are too many good books left unread.
Found this through Reddit.com and thought it was pretty neat. For those of you who like zombies, hope you get a kick out of it!
Clothing Slashing practices in NYC →
This just goes to show you how little people care about one another anymore. It makes me sad to read things like this when I know that there are plenty of people in the United States and abroad who would love to have something warm to wear during the winter. Are we Americans really this ungrateful for having more than we need to go around? Do we really demand so much from stores that what we...
So I just nerded out a little in front of my mom, sister, and sister’s friend when she pointed out that my my package I ordered from Amazon.com was sitting on the chair in our living room. I couldn’t contain my happiness. Guess what was in it!
Walden by Henry David Thoreau!

I am disgusted!
The hand-washing practices of the general public at work appal me. I’ve noticed these things being done by employees and customers alike. Simply walking out of the bathroom after pulling up your jeans does NOT result in good hygiene! Running your hand under water for a few seconds also is not an adequate solution to kill germs. I’m not really the anal-retentive type but when it comes...
Happy New Year Tumblr!
Resolution: Still working on it but I’m sure it will include my bike and getting more organized.

Here's What's Up
Old news: I hate my job.
New news: I’m kind of obsessed with cleaning and nail polish right now.
What’s new with you?
Merry Christmas Tumblr!
I’m up way too early.
What now?!
So I woke up around 11:45 today and called my boyfriend to tell him he could come to my place for lunch. (He was working.) He gets there and we sit down to eat together when all of a sudden we hear this strange noise coming from out of the chimney. My mother works at home and came running into the living room, which is attached to our kitchen and we all started guessing what it could be. We all...
Just wanted to send out a quick THANKS! to all of my new followers. You guys rock!
More posts to come as soon as I’m finished with finals week. (My last one is tomorrow.)
Books Read During My Third Semester
First off, this post is amazing because I’m actually getting it on here in a timely manner. The semester hasn’t even offcially finished. I believe I deserve a pat on the back but really, me making this post about books I’ve read is a testament to my awesome procrastination skills. (I should be studying for my finals on Tuesday and Thursday right about now!) Anyway, here’s...
Today, I'm a slacker!
Yes, that’s right. I’ve finally skipped a class this semester when I had nothing more important to do than sleep later than normal. I love the last week of school. No homework except studying and I’ve been thoroughly enjoying it.

Trine
So I bought this game called Trine off of Steam last night and I stayed awake until two playing it. If you’ve got a gaming PC and a love of puzzle games, you’ll love this one. You play as three characters simultaneously (wizard, theif, and knight) and you have to use each of their unique abilities to get through really gorgeous mazes to find the Trine. Check it out!

I hate working at my job right now. People are gearing up for the holidays and it seems like none of them are ever in a good mood. If you go shopping, be kind to the retail workers you interact with. Just smile at them and don’t give them too much trouble if they’re not making mistakes. The holidays are a stressful time for us and our managers. It makes our lives a little easier when...
I love him.
Me: I wish you were here.
Boyfriend: Why?
Me: So you could take this bag of Raisinets away from me.
Boyfriend: lmao
Me:
Me: Now you know we're in love. XD
Boyfriend: Haha
Me: If anyone else would try, I'd probably bite them.
I miss my bike!
It’s been nearly three weeks since I’ve touched my bike and I’m beginning to have withdrawls! Does anyone else in the universe suffer from such a thing?!
School and work have recently been keeping my from doing something that I love: cycling. I love my bike and I love being on my bike. I always feel nearly one hundred times better when I get off of it after a quick 8-miles in the area around my...
My WordPress blog →
Just made myself a blog on WordPress.com and I was just curious if any of you had one. I’ll subscribe if you send me your links!
OUT of the night that covers me, Black as the Pit from pole to pole, I thank whatever gods may be For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance I have not winced nor cried aloud. Under the bludgeonings of chance My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears Looms but the Horror of the shade, And yet the menace of the years Finds, and shall find,...
You know, once the weather clears up around here I think it might actually be fun to persuade my boyfriend, my brother, and his friends to play bicycle polo. That would be pretty interessting and make for a great YouTube video as some of us (mainly me) have very poor balance when it comes to bikes and grass.
Just a stray thought… ignore it if it pleases you.

Small though it may be, I figured I would post my summer reading list for everyone to check out. All of these books were great and if you need to know more about them, feel free to ask!
